Read moreHaving been Aixoise for 20 years but obviously having never resided in a hotel in Aix en Provence. By the way, I immediately thought of the hotel of the globe for its perfect location in hyper city center. Pleasantly surprised by a hotel which, from the outside, "does not look like much", offers completely refurbished, modern, comfortable rooms with a clear and refined decoration and plenty of storage. Very nice quality bathroom with shower, impeccable and comfortable bedding, air conditioning if necessary. The rooms are not very large but adequate and with a nice TV screen. We cross the street and we are in the historic center, everything is done on foot from the hotel. Nice terrace on the 4th floor which offers a view over the roofs. The reception is very friendly and the staff very attentive. A big plus for a hotel in downtown Aix, a private garage (paying) which allows to put motorcycles in safety, it was my main criterion, in case it would be full and for cars, near to #39; a huge car park in the city center under the Provençal alleys at around 200 m, another car park a few meters from the hotel, but also closed at the moment. To date, some works in the access streets, so ask for details on the itinerary to reach the hotel. The ...
